Thanksgiving Week Fun!

We absolutely love going home! (I'm mean like Aurora/Redmond Home).  It is hard to pack everything up and drive 3 1/2 long hours, but being there with all of our wonderful family is the best thing ever!
We had a great dinner with the whole Bosshardt family at Grandma and Grandpa Bosshardt's.  It was so tasty and wonderful to just talk with everyone.
Ronnie enjoyed looking out the window and watching the boys throw around the football.
Happy Thanksgiving!  As always, I love his face!
Bree'L has a cute little dog Patsy and she really loves Ronnie!
Ronnie must have missed the memo of it being a holiday and that mommy could sleep in because he would get up early every day and want to play.

The day after Thanksgiving we always go find Christmas trees.  Ronnie looked so cute all bundled up!
 Favorite Aunt Heidi
Ronnie, his best bud Traeger, and Hallie bug having a snack.
 We found a beautiful tree!

We always enjoy going home and spending time with family.  We are so thankful for wonderful families and the memories we create together!

Ronnie's One Year Old Pictures

Here are a few of Ronnie's one year old pictures.  I had a cute girl who I am working with take his pictures and she did such a great job.  Ronnie wasn't very interested in smiling, but they turned out really cute!

He's just such a cute little guy!

Happy 1st Birthday Ronnie!

Ronnie is One Year Old!  I can't believe it has been a year!  Garrett and I have absolutely loved every single minute of being a Mommy and a Daddy and it really helps when we have the best/cutest little guy in the whole world.  We feel so blessed to be the parents of this wonderful boy and each memory this year has been wonderful!  Each "First" has been such a fun experience and memories that we can't wait to tell little Ronnie when he grows up.  We love you Ronnie boy and look forward to every year to come!
A Tale of Two Birthday Parties

So, I have been thinking about Ronnie's 1st birthday for quite a while.  I love being a mom and throwing my son a birthday party was so exciting.  Garrett and I decided that we wanted all of our family to be a part of his birthday.  Because it is easier for just three of us to travel, we decided to have his birthday at home and because we both have big families, we decided to have two parties, one with my family and one with Garrett's, so lucky Ronnie got two parties for his birthday.

The first party was at my mom's house Saturday Afternoon.  The theme was Over the Rainbow.  Of course everything was Rainbow and lots of colors.  We ate lunch, played games, open presents and ate cake.

All the cousins eating lunch!  It was so fun to have you there!

 Ronnie enjoyed his cake!

It was a wonderful party!  Thank you to all of our family who came, grandparents, great grandparents, cousins, aunts (no uncles).  We are so blessed with a wonderful family who made Ronnie's day great!

Then,

We had another party!  That night we had dinner and another party with Garrett's family.  It was great to have his siblings, grandparents, and great grandparents come.  Cheryl served a great dinner, Ronnie opened gifts, and had some more cake.

What a great day!  We love our family so much and we are so glad we got to spend Ronnie's special day with you!  Thank you for all of the gifts and all of the love!
Happy Birthday little Ronnie!

Happy Halloween! You're the One that I Want!

Happy Halloween!  So, it was kinda fun to come up with something for us to be for Halloween.  I wanted to do something where we all went together so I got a bunch of ideas and this is the one that we decided on.  Grease Lightning!  (although it is so funny that no one knows who we were.  All my kids asked me at school what I was going to be and they all looked at me with blank stares when I said "Sandy" and then Ira's girls didn't even know either! Funny!)

I had a lot of fun making the Jackets.  I just went to the D.I. and then cut out the letters with vinyl stickers.

We went over to Garland with Ira's family for dinner and a Trunk-or-Treat.  It was Freezing!  But we had a good time!

Ronnie's Jacket says "Lil' T Bird"

We poofed up his hair and you can't really see it in the pictures, but I kissed his cheek with lipstick on so he had a cute, little kiss mark!

This is what Ronnie ended up as by the end of the night.  It was so cold!
