Big Boy!

My little guy is growing up!  Look at him sitting up!  I just love watching this little guy grow!  I can't wait till summer starts and I can be with him all day long!  8 more days!

Mother's Day!

I have officially had my first Mother's Day and it was wonderful!  I am a MOM now and I couldn't love anything more.  Being a mother is so precious and so special and it is even better when I have the best and cutest little boy in the whole world.  I told Garrett that today was "my day!" and he had to be good to me and he responded "Everyday is your day!  Ronnie and I are grateful for you being a wonderful mother everyday!"  AWWWWW! I know!  How sweet right?
Anyway, Ronnie and Garrett gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a delicious caramel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  Garrett's mother also gave me a beautiful book about being a mother. (Thanks Cheryl!)

Church was great and I finally got to receive the traditional Geranium flower after Sacrament.  (I have watched mom get one every year and there was finally one for me!)

We had steaks out on the grill for dinner and because this past week I got so many treats from my students (it was Teacher Appreciation Week) I didn't have to make anything for desert.

It was also a beautiful day so we drove to this new park we found.  This park is so much fun and one we will definitely go back to a lot.
I think he liked the slide!
 There's my cutie!
Ronnie loves his Mommy!
It was a great Mother's day!

Ronnie's Half Birthday!

On Thursday, Ronnie turned 6 months old!  Wow!  Time has gone by so fast!  I can't believe it!  He is so cute and we love him so much!
For his 'half' birthday, I made him half of a birthday cake and we had a little half birthday party for him.
Of course we had to give him a little taste of his own cake!  I think he was a little unsure about the taste.
Ronnie got a new high chair!
He's such a big boy eating lots of vegetables!  I think carrots are his favorite so far!
He's getting more hair!  Mom likes to play with it.
He's not crawling quite yet, but he rolls everywhere and tries to kick himself forward.
On Saturday, we went to Salt Lake and met Garrett's family at City Creek Center for dinner.
Then on Sunday we took a tour of the conference center.  Garrett's Great Aunt Vickie and Uncle John are missionaries there.
We had such a good time.  The conference center is so incredible and it was so good to be with family.
We love you Ronnie Boy!
