Little Ronnie meets Grandpa Ronnie

The absolute best experience we had this past week was introducing Little Ronnie to Grandpa Ronnie.  We knew that naming our little boy after Garrett's Grandpa was perfect and so special.  It was such a special experience when they met.  Granndpa Ronnie was really touched.  Ronnie just kept looking up at him almost like he knew exactly who was holding him.

What a special relationship they have already.  It is going to be so fun watching Ronnie grow up and spend time with His Grandpa! 

A Wonderful Weekend!

This past weekend was so great!  We got to spend several days being with family and introducing them to our little Ronnie!

 Sunday was his first time to church.  Of course I had to dress him up so cute!  He looked like such a sweet little gentleman!

One fun fact, Ronnie absolutely loves getting his hair washed!  He is just liking having a bath, but he has always loved getting his hair wet and having mommy scrubbing his hair.  It is so cute to watch!  He is definitely my boy.  That is my favorite too!

Ronnie's First Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Little Ronnie!  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family!  This year we are so thankful for our beautiful baby boy!  Garrett and I absolutely love watching him grow everyday!  And isn't he so cute in his little outfit!  (mommy likes dressing him up!)

Gettin' Bigger!

Time is sure flying by!  Our little Ronnie Boy is two weeks old today!  I can't believe how fast these two weeks have gone by!  Garrett and I have loved every minute of being a Mommy and a Daddy!
Ronnie is getting bigger and getting cuter every day! He is changing so fast and I always have my camera ready cause I just love taking pictures of him!
We went to the Doctor today and our little guy is now 7 lbs. 13 oz. and is 21 inches long.  He is so happy (for most of the day!) He loves to sit and look around and keeps mommy and daddy busy with all the poopy diapers!  We love our little guy and are excited to go home this next week for Thanksgiving and see all the family!

One Week Old!

It is hard to believe, but Ronnie is one week old today!  We have enjoyed everyday and this week has just flown by!  Grandma Kris and I really enjoyed giving him a bath, making him smell so good, putting cute outfits on, and taking some pictures.  I'm not professional, but some of these pictures are pretty cute!

Lovin' our Little Ronnie Boy

It's only been a few days, but this cute little baby has sure captured our hearts and made our home so wonderful!  He is such a sweet baby!  He is a good eater, sleeps really well, when he is awake-he is so pleasant, loves to look around, and always gets the hiccups!

 When he was checked in the hospital, his Billierubin levels were a little high and after a visit to the pediatrician, we decided he needed to spend some time on this light bed to help them go down.  We put the bed in his bassinet to sleep on all night long and then took naps on it during the day.  He got checked again today and hopefully his levels will continue to go down.

 He didn't really like his first bath. Oh he's so cute!

Ronnie's First day home!

It was so great to finally meet our baby boy!  The hospital was great and the nurses took good care of all of us, but we were sure ready to go home. It was fun to clean Ronnie up and get him all dressed up to go home.  Daddy, Mommy, and baby were glad to be home.

Introducing Baby Ronnie!

After 9 months of waiting, our little baby boy is here!  He arrived early Friday morning at 5:38 AM.  November 2, 2012.  He was 7 lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches long. 
Garrett and I went to the hospital at 7:00 Thursday night.  They put me on some Pitocin to start my contractions.  Garrett's family came up and they came to visit me for a little bit while we were waiting.  Mom also came and not long after she got there I was pretty ready for an epideral.  My water broke not long after I got my epideral and then they had to turn the Pitocin off because my contractions were too close together and Ronnie's heart rate began to drop.  Mom and I got a little sleep and then they turned my Pitocin back on.  Not long after, the nurse checked me and I was fully dialated and ready to push.  It didn't take too long and they actually had me stop pushing cause the doctor wasn't there yet.  The doctor came and after a few more pushes, there was our cute baby boy.  He was happy, healthy, and beautiful.  We were so excited to see he had lots of dark hair!

 It was so great to have all of our family there!  They fell quickly in love with our sweet little guy!

 What a big day!  We are so excited and so blessed to have this new little baby in our lives.  We love him so much!
