Bosshardt Family Trip to Durango
This past week the whole Bosshardt Family went on a Trip to Durango, Colorado. It was a long drive there, but definitely worth it. We had so much fun! We rode the Railroad train up to Silverton, went river rafting down the Animas River, when to the Bar D Wranglers Chuck Wagon for dinner and a show, toured down town Durango, watched a Vaudeville Melodrama, went to a mountain resort with rock climbing, horseback riding, alpine slides, bungie tramps, scenic chair lift and on the way home we stopped at Mesa Verde National Park and toured all the cliff dwellings. WOW! What a trip!
Honey Moon!
We went to San Diego California for our Honeymoon! It was such a fun time and we tried to go see as many things as we could.
We visited the San Diego Wild Animal Park. In this park they have all of the animals running around together. We took a tour ride through the park and got really close to many different animals. I was upset cause the tiger was taking a nap when we went to see him.
We also went to Sea World! It was way hot and both Garrett and I got sun burned, but it was fun. The best part were the sharks! Also during the dolphin show I ran into our cousin Amy with her two little girls! It was fun to see them.
We also went to Old Town San Diego and visited the Mormon Battalion Visitor Center. This was one of our favorite places! We took a tour and learned a lot of really neat things about these faithful and courageous saints.
Of course we couldn't go to San Diego without visiting the Zoo! We spent hours looking at all of the cool animals. This zoo was amazing! Garrett's favorite thing to do was look at all his "kitty kats" (jaguars, panthers, cougars, lions).
We visited the Harbor in Downtown San Diego and toured the USS Midway. This was a huge, famous battle ship and it was pretty cool to walk through. I never realized how big these battle ships were!
It's not a trip to Cali if you don't go to the beach. We went to Lahoia Shores in San Diego. It was kinda windy that day so we didn't go swimming, but we had fun wading in the ocean, playing in the sand, and enjoying the sunshine.
On the way back home we stopped in Las Vegas. This was my first time walking down the "Strip" and it was pretty cool. Also to end the Honeymoon with an enormous BANG, Garrett took me to see..... The Phantom of the Opera at the Venecian! It was so AMAZING!
Thanks Garrett for a great trip!
The Perfect Day June 11th, 2010
Garrett and I were married in the Manti Temple for time and all eternity on June 11th 2010.
It was a perfect (rainy, windy) day. We had a lot of family there which was so great!
(p.s. My photographer isn't quite done editing all of my pictures from the wedding, but when she does I will get all of the family pictures and send them to anyone who would like them. I think they turned out really good!)
After we took pictures with the family, Garrett and I took some at the temple so here is just a few that I really liked.
It really was the perfect day and we want to thank everyone in our families for all you did to make our day so special! Thank you! We love you!
