Goodbye Redmond.......Hello Ogden

Well Goodbye Redmond! It's time to start school! Saturday we loaded up the trailer and waved goodbye as we headed up north. We are really going to miss our cute little house in Redmond and being so close to family, but we are really excited to start our new adventure up in the city!
Hello Ogden-our new Home! This is our new apartment in Ogden. We live in a complex called Sun Chase apartments just north of the Ogden temple. It is a great complex and perfect for me and Garrett. Our apartment is a little small, but we don't need much room.
This is our bedroom with the beautiful temple my wonderful siblings gave us right over our bed.
Our bathroom and our big walk-in closet is right off the bedroom. (and that closet is full because it is all the storage space we have!)

This is our living room equipped with a desk for Garrett's countless hours of studying and a brand new couch from Uncle Jim which by the way is extremely comfortable!

And last, but not least is my kitchen. It was tough finding a place for all of my stuff, but it is the perfect place for me to cook up extremely delicious meals for Garrett. (and yes Cody I am a better cook then you!)

So we're all set and cozy here in Ogden. Garrett is enjoying his classes at Weber and I am going to start my student teaching on Monday and I'm so excited! I guess we'll see what new adventures we run into up here!

Cabin Get-a-Way!

As much as we don't like it, the summer has come to an end. Because we will soon be getting to school, homework, jobs, and responsibility Garrett and I decided to end the summer with some fun. Our final summer getaway was the Bosshardt Family Cabin on Beaver Mountain.
Garrett and I drove down for the weekend (and yes we did go to church at the ward in Beaver) to this beautiful cabin tucked away in the Mountains.

Of course we had to go on a four wheeler ride. We went on a trail that took us all around the mountain and we saw some great views. (no elk though)

We did a lot of this....relaxing! And may I say that I cooked up some really incredible meals!

And also we ended our trip with a Fishing Trip to Kent's lake! Of course I caught the most fish! What can I say...it's just in my blood. Actually we didn't catch any fish just a few snags and a really fun time!

It was a great way to finish out the summer! What a busy summer!
