Labor Day Fun!

This past Labor Day was a lot of fun! I had to work on Saturday, but spent the evening with the fam. Then Sunday morning I drove to Fish Lake to go to church with Garrett's Torgerson family. They were camping up there for the weekend. That was the first time I have ever gone to church at Fish Lake. I have always wanted to. It as pretty cool and there were a ton of people there! Then we had lunch with his family and played the Candy Bar Game! (this game is totally awesome and we are so doing it at our next family party!) Then Garrett and I drove to the Oak Ranch to spend time with my family. Ira and his family were down for the weekend and Casey brought his family over from Ferron. It was so fun to see everyone and of course the ranch is always a BLAST! We rode horses and four wheelers, and even climbed on the moon! (horse thief mesa, we told the little kids it was the moon and we put a flag on top) I am so glad that I got Garrett on a horse again! He did so well!

Then we went for a ride on Grandpa's new four wheeler! AWESOME! It was a fun weekend!

Long Time No See!

Ok, ok, ok, I Know! I haven't written anything in a long time but REALLY, I have a perfectly good excuse and I promise it is a good one! I am just so BUSY all of the time and when I am not busy I....well....let me think...actually to tell you the truth, there is never a moment that I'm not busy. Even now I am supposed to be working on my social studies project learning unit lesson plan and instead I am being a rebel and taking a break! School is going well though. I love all of my classes, well almost all of them but that is another story, and I love the girls in my classes. we have fun and always keep those long nights in class bearable! I have this semester of classes and then I will student teach in the spring, work in the child lab for all of May and then Graduate with a two degrees, one in Early Childhood Education and one in Elementary Education! YAY! I can't wait to be done and finally be in my own classroom which actually could be this time next year! CRAZY! Ephraim is a little different than Logan, but I like it! Now don't get me wrong, I still find a little time for fun because I'm in college and it's what you do! I love my roommates! They are sweet girls and we are always laughing at each other! So life is great and always moving forward! Love to all!

Back to School!

Hello World! Sorry it's been awhile, but I don't really stay in touch too well during the summer? Now the summer is over (BUMMER!) and I have to start getting back into the swing of things! Now I am living in Ephraim attending Utah State University South campus and the end is almost in sight. I only have a year left until I can finally fulfill my life time dream of becoming a teacher. Ephraim is a little different than Logan. It's a lot smaller and I just have this feeling like I am older then everyone else. I am really going to miss Logan, all of the people I met, living with my sister, visiting Ira Jeniel and the girls, and the beautiful Cache valley. But I guess life goes on...so school here I come!

Bon Fire!

Last night we decided that it would be fun to have a bon fire and roast some hot dogs and marshmallows. On our way we stopped at first dam and took some really fun pictures in the tunnel!

The place we wanted to go initially was closed so ended up going to the church's fire pit (not exactly the great outdoors, but close). We had a good time building a fire, roasting up some hot dogs and singing some fun songs completely off pitch! (I wasn't meant to be a singer) It was a great ole' time with the roomies and friends! P.S. smores can be really really REALLY messy!

Merry Christmas?

Hey Fam! I just love living in Logan because it snows in March! YAY! Sunday morning we woke up to about 4-5 inches of beautifully fallen snow and it was still coming. Huge white flakes! So naturally we listened to Christmas music as we got ready for church. Josh Groban is amazing! Then during church we all came up with a brilliant plan! We wanted to celebrate Christmas together! So after ward prayer we invited a whole bunch of people over to listen to some music and make Christmas sugar cookies! It was a blast!

Look! I made cookie that looks just like Krista! What can I say? I'm Just awesome!

Happy Chinese New Year (well, a little while ago!)

Of course because we are G4, we wanted to celebrate Chinese New Year this year so each of us dug deep within ourselves to bring out the Chinese in all of us. Kristen told us that it was good luck to wear red, so all of us wore our red shirts to school. (Don't we look so precious in our matching attire?) So then we did what we do best in our apartment, we ate! We made some delicious cream cheese won tons with sweet and sour sauce and then Kristen made some amazing fried rice! We had a pretty good time and the food was great too! Happy Chinese New year!

Sisters Forever!

One of the biggest blessings I have in my life are the gift of two wonderful sisters. Of course like all sisters do, we fight and steal each others' clothes and get frustrated with each other. It's just part of being sisters, but I wouldn't trade them for anything in this whole wide world! These past years I have had the amazing opportunity to live with my big sister Heidi. Our time together has meant more to me than anything. We have grown so close together and have shared some memories that I will never forget. She is one of my bestest (yes this is a word) friends and I love her very much. She takes care of me and is always there when I need her. Every girl needs a big sister like mine! And then there is my little sister. Where do I start with her. Let's just say that a big sister couldn't be more proud than I am of her. She has so many dreams and hopes in life and instead of just thinking about them, she is out there doing what she can to accomplish them. No dream is out of reach for Whitney so watch out world. I miss the fun times we shared in High School playing sports and those big hugs in the hall. I miss being her furniture and trust me, I never thought I would say that! I love you Whit and I am so proud of you. In this last General Conference Elder Holland gave a talk on Angels in our lives. I believe that my Father in Heaven gave me two of them to help me and be there for me when I need it. I love you my sisters!
